Meowy Christmas

Christmas cards in June? This is a quick Christmas card using one of the whimsical kitty Christmas stamps available at PURRS AND PANTS.

The green background embossing is done by using my cuttlebug and one of my large hollyberry brass stencils. The impression isn't quite as defined as when you use a cuttlebug embossing folder, but the subtle results are nice.

Card Recipe and Ingredients:
Stamps: Purrs and Pants
Cardstock: Stampin' Up red and green
Colored with Copic markers
Embellishments: Nestibilities oval and scalloped oval dies, Christmas Green Flower Soft, Prima Poinsettia flower and leaf, crystal brad and stickles.

Cheers!

  1. That's so cute! We have seven cats, and we've unfortunately had to give up on the Christmas tree. It was no problem switching to only non-breakable ornaments, but one cat still insisted on chewing through all the ornament strings, and another kept climbing up inside our artificial tree and knocking it over. When I had to set it back up for the 4th or 5th time in a day, that was the end.

Now we do what I call our "patented one-strand Christmas tree", by stringing garland with lights from our banister landing to our chandelier. We even hang ornaments from it!

I'm going to check out the rest of those stamps. Thanks for sharing this!
