Celebrate



I have no particular love for the color combination of red and yellow. For some strange reason though, I've been making a lot of tags and cards using these two bright colors together. Hmmmm...

Anyway, I am in my birthday cardmaking mode and this is another card I made. This stamp, made by The Artful Stamper. I stamped it on watercolor paper and embossed with gold detail embossing powder. The image is watercolored with Twinkling H2O's so the candles really sparkle. Then I pop dotted a couple of the dancing candles for dimension and added stickles glitter glue for even more punch.

The "celebrate" sentiment is from Stampin' Up!. Then I decided since it already was full of sparkle, why not put three red "gems" at the top for a little more glitz. This card really sparkles but I'm not a good enough photographer to capture all of its sparkle.

    LOVE that owl card! This is kinda fun & wild - maybe you are gravitating to the brighter & more cheerful tones because you know Bella wouldn't want you down in the dumps forever. Glad you're back to stamping and I hope each day is a bit easier for you.
