Home is where the heart lives.
I love Primitive Art. On the walls of my home hang prints of Jane Wooster Scott, Charles Wysocki as well as Warren Kimble. When I discovered that Cornish Heritage Farms had made and produced these primitive art stamps I didn't have to think twice about ordering them. When they arrived, I was not disappointed.
As I've mentioned before, I'm not real good at creating stamped scenes but I have to admit that this was a lot of fun. It required a lot of masking and various colors of ink on the same stamp while trying to maintain a muted and primitive look.
I'm pleased with my first card using this set. I have a couple more drying on my work table to post in a day or so. I thought this card would be nice for someone who's just moved.
Until next time...

ReplyDeleteThis is soooo Primitive! I absolutely love it. We bought a house 2 years ago but aren't finished restoring it enough to move into. I have been collecting primitive are for several of the rooms and a hallway, though. You are so talented to be able to put this together....Thanks for sharing!

Oh, you and I are so much more alike than I thought! I have two of Jane Wooster Scott's prints hanging in my living room. One is of quilts hanging on a clothes line. The other is a winter scene. There's the town, people skating in the ice pond...... I don't know the names of these prints. They are both signed by JWS, also. We bought them at an art auction up at Minot AFB. Your card is so Charles Wysocki-ish. I love primitive art, also. Your did a fabulous jon with coloring and with the sheep!
ReplyDeleteWow, lov this!!!
