Card Positioning Systems challenge #66

I have never done a CPS (Card Positioning Systems) challenge before. WHY? I have no idea because CPS is a great site and the challenges for layouts are extremely creative and fun.

I was blurfing this afternoon and came upon DEBBIE's blog called THINKING INKING post in which she gave the tutorial for making the CPS #66 card. I love her work anyway and the tutorial seemed so straight forward and fun. So I decided to give it a try.

The Mary Engelbreit stamp is made by All Night Media. I colored the image with Prisma color pencils. The background paper is from Stampin' Up!

Please forgive my photography. We are in the midst of a thunderstorm right now and I can't photograph outside. Since I do not have natural light, my lighting is casting a dark and gloomy shadow over my photo.

  1. You did a *beautiful* job on this, Jennifer! I just love the whimsy of Mary Englebreit, and it's a perfect image for this shape of card!

  2. Hello Jennifer, you asked where I've found the tiny envelops to fit the small cards, I've made them with SU! small envelops template you can follow this link :
and it's on page 167 on the top right corner!
    Have a wonderful day!

  3. I hope the thunderstorm passed without affecting you and the dogs too badly. (Thunder really scares me)

  4. Oh my goodness, the first time I saw this DP, I thought of Mary Engelbreit & all her cheery cherries! Perfect pairing! I should look for some of those stamps!

  5. Nothing gloomy about that cherry poppin' colorful card. Just darlin'.

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment. I truly appreciate them.
