Let's work in the garden!

Have you seen all of the colorful garden boots in the stores lately? They used to be solid colored and usually green or maybe yellow, but lately I've seen so many colorful, patterned and striped gum boots. A girl's gotta have the right shoes for the right occasion!

This weekends layout sketch over at Our Creative Corner Challenge site is calling for a card using the layout below:

The recipe for this card is pretty simple but I think you'll agree, it is colorful!

Card Recipe:
Stamp: Impression Obsession (Garden Boots)
Patterned Paper: Nature's Garden (Marjolein Boskin)
Coloring medium: Copic Markers
Embellishments: Nestibilities rectangle and scalloped rectangle dies, Stickles, pink gingham ribbon, and a miscellanious bee button from my button box.

  1. Fantastic... I've been trying to decide on a fun pair of those boots, but there are just too many choices now! Love your cute little bee!

  2. Hey! I've been coloring those boots this weekend, too. Yours look great and so do your copic attemps. Will be watching to see if you put your pencils up for sale...

  3. Love that you added in some yellow with the pink and green. It makes such a fresh color combo. Your coloring is amazing. A few copics are winging their way to my house now :)

  4. This is awesome! Love the vibrant colors on this card. Really refreshing:)

  5. Lovely Card! your colouring is amazing! Thanks for playing with us!

  6. Awesome gumboots!! love your card! I used an Alesa Baker stamp for this challenge too!
