It's a NEW YEAR and the first theme challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog is "NEW". Get out your Mouse Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffies stamps and create something with the theme of NEW. I have some new sewing projects I am dreaming up and some actually sewn since the 1st of 2012, so I decided to use this cute House Mouse Stamp titled "Alterations Sew and Go" as my take on the theme for all of my new sewing projects underway.
For the inside of my card I used a sentiment from Paper Trey Inc. Quilters Sampler Sentiments.Card Recipe:
Stamps: Stampabilities "Alterations Sew and Go" and Papertrey Inc. "Quilters Sampler Sentiments
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black and Versfine Crimson Red. Image colored with Copic Markers
Designer Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Embellishments: Red, Yellow, Green and Blue Stickles Glitter for the pinheads, Antique Glass Embossing glaze on the mirror, Machine stitching, satin measuring tape ribbon, black buttons, scissors charms, and gold, green and blue glitter gel pens.
