Easter Blessings

It is hard for me to imagine, due to all of the snow we've had this past week, that many of my friends and family are seeing daffodils and crocus peeking through the ground. I won't be seeing spring flowers for a while, but that just inspires me more to make cards with spring flowers.
This week's Friday Sketchers Challenge #145 (sketch shown below) provided the impetus for this Easter Blessings card. Such a lovely layout sketch!

I used the Stampin' Up! set titled "Abundant Hope" for this card. I colored the image with copic markers and used just a touch of stickles for some dew-y sparkled on the petals. The designer paper is from Ocotber Afternoon "Thrift Shop". I added some white pearls to the Prima Flowers and sweet little yellow pearls to the satin ribbon on the band.

I'm going to begin making some more Easter cards. Do you send Easter cards?

Until next time,
Cheers!

Jennifer

  2. Oh what a pretty card Jennifer. I love daffodils and where I live don't see them grow, far too tropical here.

  3. Your card epitomizes Easter and Spring and it's only a matter of time before this snow leaves once and for all and we DO see buds sprouting from the ground. Such a pretty, pretty card.

  5. What a beauty! Love all that yellow (esepcially the dp) and the pearls. A perfect card for spring and Easter. And, no, I rarely send Easter cards. But I do occasionally send spring cards...
